Review of OmHarmonics Binaural Beats by Meditation Teacher Mackenzie Milne
Mackenzie Milne is a Meditation Teacher in Austin, Texas who recently began to use OmHarmonics to support her meditation practice. The following is a review she wrote about her experience:
"I can’t express how thankful I am for OmHarmonics! Unlike other programs which I found hard to incorporate into my life, it was simple to learn how to use OmHarmonics and the results were immediate for me. I have been using OmHarmonics for a week now and I already feel more centered, calm and grounded and words can’t describe how thankful I am for the support from Vishen and everyone else at Mindvalley.
As one who has been meditating daily for over 5 years, my meditation practice is incredibly important to me. On days when I meditate I can focus more, I am more patient with my family and my coworkers and I tend to eat less.
However, recently I have been having trouble finding a quiet place to sit and meditate each day. I used to live by myself and I had a set schedule which included waking up at 6:30am each morning to light incense and sit on my meditation cushion for 60 minutes. I now I live in a house with three friends and I have an irregular work schedule. I am a Meditation Teacher, an Artist and a Barista and my schedule changes every day of the week. Unlike the silent space which was my old house, there are often people talking, a dog barking, or music playing no matter where I am which makes it harder for me to focus while I meditate. Furthermore, I have become inclined to make excuses to put meditation aside until later or, even worse, until tomorrow. OmHarmonics has changed this for me because I can simply put my headphones on wherever I am and let the calming Binaural Beats do their work to help me align with my higher being.
OmHarmonics has also simplified my life because I can now meditate wherever I am by tuning into OmHarmonics with my headphones on. I downloaded one of the OmHarmonics tracks on my iPhone so I can now go to a park close to where I work and listen to the familiar OmHarmonics audio track while I meditate. With the OmHarmonics track on my iPhone I have found that I spend less time thinking about where and when I am going to meditate each day (a stress that was filling a lot of my day).
I am so thankful for OmHarmonics in the way that it has brought confidence back to my meditation practice. It feels amazing knowing that I will be able to focus while I meditate. Listening to the Binaural Beats allows my body to relax in a way that I have not been able to with my own silent meditation practice recently. Beyond this, I also feel confident knowing I am supported by a community who believes in my success, which has been a priceless gift to me."
